Privacy Policy

1. General information.

  1. The operator of the sendly.link Website is SYNTELL S.A. with its registered office in Poznań, Plac Wolności 18, 61-739 Poznań, entered under KRS number 0000476527 in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court in Poznań, 21st Commercial Division of the National Court Register, entered in the register of telecommunications undertakings kept by the President of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE), holding tax identification number NIP 7831703009.
  2. The Website collects information about users and their behaviour in the following ways:
    1. Through information voluntarily entered in forms.
    2. By storing cookie files (so-called “cookies”) on end devices.

2. Information in forms.

  1. The Website collects information provided voluntarily by the user.
  2. The Website may also record information about connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).
  3. Data entered in a form are not shared with third parties other than with the user’s consent.
  4. Data provided in a form may constitute a database of potential customers.
  5. Data provided in a form are processed for the purpose resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g. to handle a service request or for commercial contact.
  6. Data provided in forms may be transferred to entities that technically perform certain services – payment processors or other entities with which the Website Operator cooperates in this respect.
  7. If the account registration process fails (e.g. due to a technical error or the data being rejected by the system), the Operator records the contact details provided in the form (e-mail address, first name, phone number, company name) together with the IP address, country, browser information and a technical description of the error. This data is used solely to diagnose technical problems, to keep the Website secure and to contact the user in order to help complete the registration (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  8. The password, tax ID and address details are not stored in this record. The records are kept on Cloudflare infrastructure and deleted once the issue is resolved or at the user’s request (contact: [email protected]).

3. Information about cookies.

  1. The Website uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, stored on the Website User’s end device and intended for use of the Website’s pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.
  3. The entity that places cookies on the Website User’s end device and accesses them is the Website operator.
  4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    1. creating statistics that help understand how Website Users use web pages, which makes it possible to improve their structure and content;
    2. maintaining the Website User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter their login and password on every subpage of the Website;
  5. The Website uses two basic types of cookies: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. “Session” cookies are temporary files stored on the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the website or closing the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted by the User.
  6. Web browsing software (the web browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the User’s end device by default. Website Users may change these settings. The web browser makes it possible to delete cookies. It is also possible to block cookies automatically.   8. Cookies placed on the Website User’s end device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Website operator.

4. Server logs.

  1. Information about some user behaviours is logged at the server layer. These data are used solely to administer the website and to ensure the most efficient operation of the hosting services provided.
  2. Browsed resources are identified by URL addresses. In addition, the following may be recorded:
    1. request arrival time,
    2. response sending time,
    3. client station name – identification performed via the HTTP protocol,
    4. information about errors that occurred during the HTTP transaction,
    5. the URL address of the page previously visited by the user (referer link) – where the Website was accessed via a link,
    6. information about the user’s browser,
    7. information about the IP address.
  3. The above data are not associated with specific individuals browsing the pages.
  4. The above data are used solely for server administration purposes.

5. Data disclosure.

  1. Data are disclosed to external entities solely within legally permitted limits.
  2. Data enabling the identification of a natural person are disclosed solely with that person’s consent.
  3. The Operator may be obliged to provide information collected by the Website to authorised authorities on the basis of lawful requests, to the extent resulting from the request.

6. Managing cookies – how to give and withdraw consent in practice?

  1. If the user does not want to receive cookies, they may change the browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies necessary for authentication, security and maintaining user preferences may hinder, and in extreme cases may prevent, the use of websites.

7. Measuring ad performance.

  1. If the user arrived at the Website from a Google Ads advertisement, the page address may contain a technical click identifier (gclid). If an account is successfully created, the Operator passes this identifier together with the registration time to Google in order to measure the effectiveness of the ad (offline conversion import).
  2. The identifier relates to the ad click, not to a person – no data entered in the form is passed along with it.
  3. Google also receives information about whether the user has (or has not) given consent to ad personalisation on the Website; without consent, Google uses the data only in a limited, aggregated way.
  4. The legal basis for this processing is the Operator’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in measuring the effectiveness of its marketing.
