Frequently asked questions about SMS marketing

No, and we do not recommend anyone who does. Sending to a purchased database is marketing without the recipient's consent – it ends in complaints, a blocked sender field and liability on your side. You build your list yourself, on consents collected in your store, in a form or at the point of sale.

A thousand messages in the first tier is PLN 110 net, i.e. PLN 0.11 per SMS. At larger volumes the rate drops to PLN 0.075. There is no subscription, activation fee or minimum top-up.

Consent to marketing communication to a phone number, collected and documented before sending. How to do it in line with GDPR is covered in our guide to consents in SMS marketing on the blog.

Yes. The sender field is an alphanumeric Sender ID of up to 11 characters – your brand name is shown instead of a number. Details and limits are covered in our article on the sender field.

160 characters in the GSM-7 alphabet. Polish diacritics switch the message to Unicode, and then one SMS is 70 characters, while longer content counts as further messages.

The result is the same, the route differs. From the panel you send manually, without programming. Via the API you send from your own system, when a campaign is meant to start automatically – for example after an event in your store.
